We haven't got any plans to yet but that is not to say that it won't happen.
The main problem with building North Shore is that it is so labour intensive. Presently our biggest problem is builder turn out. If we got a lot of regular helpers turn up to build days then we would be able to build a lot more.
The Forestry Commission is fairly relaxed on their North Shore regulations. They have taken their principals from Whistler Bike Park and we have seen all the cool stuff they have built there.
The only restriction is that anything we build needs to be half as wide as it is tall, i.e. if it is a foot off the ground then it needs to be half a foot wide. Also any structure needs to be made from pressure treated timber.
Bad North Shore sucks. The last thing you want to be worrying about while riding along a raised platform is whether or not it is about to give way underneath you.
